AIRBAG MODULE CRASH DATA RESET SERVICE
HONDA, ACURA, NISSAN, INFINITI, SUBARU, TOYOTA, LEXUS, HYUNDAI, KIA, FORD, GM, CHEVROLET, GMC, CADILLAC, SAAB, HUMMER, DODGE, JEEP and many more
- Airbag light is on?
- Vehicle was in an accident?
- Airbag(s) have deployed ?
- SeatBelt(s) Replaced ?
- Diagnostic tool shows "crash event stored" ?
- Dealer says you need a new module?
We reset crash data soft and hard codes stored in your airbag srs module during the accident and restore your airbag module to original OEM state.
Even after a minor accident srs airbag module will register crash data codes into its memory. Which will make the airbag light illuminate on your dashboard.
Airbag SRS control modules are also known as"sdm", "sensor", "computer", "derm" and "brain."
Almost all 1996-2018 airbag modules can be reset and reprogrammed, except if flood, fire or hardware damaged.
It is always best to send your original module to us for reset to avoid additional trip to the dealer for coding. Most of the late model cars will have partial VIN stored in the airbag control module.
If vehicle had one or more AirBags deployed and/or Seatbelt(s) locked up, those must be repaired first, before Installing Repaired AirBag Module into the vehicle!
SRS Airbag Module Removal & Installation Procedure:
Removing SRS AirBag Computer Module:

Installing SRS AirBag Computer Module:

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:
- Never probe the electrical connectors on air bag or seat belt.
- Never disassemble or tamper with safety belt buckle/retractor pretensioners, adaptive load limiting retractors, safety belt inflators, or probe the electrical connectors.
- Do not use electrical test equipment to check SRS circuits unless instructed to in this Service Manual.
- Before servicing the SRS, turn ignition switch OFF, disconnect both battery cables and wait at least 3 minutes. For approximately 3 minutes after the cables are removed, it is still possible for the air bag and seat belt pre-tensioner to deploy. Therefore, do not work on any SRS connectors or wires until at least 3 minutes have passed.
